IRON LADY OF PAKISTAN
“They call me disabled I called myself differently abled”
You
know who speak these lines any idea. I give you a hint, recognize below photo:
After 2 years of marriage she was come her
home with her husband from Quetta to Rahim Yar Khan but their car
met with an accident that time she was carried to hospital by jeep because
there was no ambulance facility in that part of the city. She reached hospital
and got treatment. She had lots of injuries also her wrist fractured, shoulder
bone & collar bone fractured whole rib cage injured, lungs & liver
badly injured through that she was not able to take breath. 3 vertebrae bone
completely crushed. She stayed 2 and half months in hospital
& got multiple surgeries. One day doctor came to her & said you cannot
become artist because of her wrist & arm deformed through that she cannot
hold pen again. Next day doctor said to her a terrible thing that was due to
spine injury she cannot walk & also cannot give birth to a child again. She
was very disappointed why this thing happen to her. Then her mother said to her
“God has greater plan for you”. In this situation her father left in
pain. She felt helpless. After all that she got lots of press ulcers on her
back & hip bone, she was unable to sit & also got of infections &
allergies. To prevent the doctor gave her advice to lie down on bed straight.
She got 2 years bedridden. In starting days she survived but
slowly-slowly she got frustrated from white walls, in frustration she used to
chop her hair off, whey they used to stuck in hair brush. But she just looked
outside & listen birds chirping. Then she started slowly-slowly painting,
from that time now painting was not her passion it’s was therapy for her.
On
those days she decided that she will fight with her fears. The First, one was
her divorced (2015), when her ex-husband did another marriage so she
type a text message “I am so happy for you & I wish you all the best”.
The Second, was that she cannot be birth a child again so she adopted a child
whose name is Nael Mazari.
She
nourished him alone. In this situation her mother was always her true strength
who motivated her & make higher her spirit. So she start to appearing in
public by her painting, which express sentiment through art works.
She
started her brand name “MUNIBA CANVAS” with the slowcigan means “let
your walls wear colors”. She is mix media artist. Some of her art works
imagination which describe the human’s expressions, their thoughts & dream.
Her paintings give the message of living life & represent responsibility of
the artist. Then she joined National Tv of Pakistan, she was an anchor person
& did lots of shows. She was honor of being FIRST anchor who’s on
wheelchair. She also started modeling, where she also imprint in field of
modeling as FIRST wheelchair bound model of Pakistan.
Then she started singing also where she sung
lots of songs like {[ Yeh Hath Salamat Hain ], [Can I go Nael],
[Nadiya Re], [I see the light], [Tujhse naraz nahi zindagi]}.
She also has been part of many social campaigns, where she spread awareness about child violence, gender discrimination, etc. She also worked for children’s rights & educational also guided people against child abuse. She is also a motivational speaker also gave speech to TEDx talks.

When she shortlisted in the 100
Inspirational Women of 2015 by BBC then she became the “National Ambassador for
UN Women Pakistan”. Where she speaks for rights of women, children, inclusion,
diversify, gender equality & lots of social issues.
